The CSED160-P2-175 shaper cutter set is for making the stile and rail of interior or exterior doors. The included profile is "slant" or profile #2 (P2), and the finish stock thickness at 1-3/4" with 40mm bore, complete with 1-1/4" and 30mm reduction bushing for various spindles, an added flexibility and resell value. The set can be adapted easily to other three (3) profiles and two (2) other thicknesses at 2" and 2-1/4" with new additional profile knives and re-position of included spacers.
Similarly, the R1D002 shaper cutter set is readily available in 1-1/4" bore and can be configured for either 1.75" or 2"/2.25" material thickness with one of the four profiles.
Both doorsets are for the Mortise & Tenon Joinery. Additional tool elements (discs) can be added in the future for the Dowel/Biscuit joinery. Growing with your needs is the key to these toolsets.
